Ulaanbaatar – city, people and logistics

A short stay in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Mongolia is the least densely populated country of the world – and still there is of course traffic congestion in its main city.

Thanks to help from friends in the International Think Tank for LLDCs and in Mongolia Customs, I was even able to climb up a cargo crane in a dry port. Main purpose of the mission was an OHRLLS meeting on transit corridors, and bilateral meetings with the Government of Mongolia.
